This is a personal project to design a user-friendly digital companion for the Bentley community to manage their library affairs to improve the experience. The project plan is: first to study on pain points in users’ reality; based on research findings, some opportunities are defined. Finally, a medium-high fidelity prototype is created for major workflows.
As a student at Bentley University, I often use our library resources, so do many other colleagues. Currently, Bentley library possesses a desktop website and an adaptive mobile website, the portals where Bentley community can look for library information and request for resources (Group Study Room Reservation, borrowing materials, etc.).
